Job Description:
Royal Palm Beach Health and Rehabilitation Center is 120 bed skilled nursing facility. We are currently hiring for Patient Care Assistants (PCA's) for 3pm to 11pm shift. As a PCA you will be required to complete an 8 hour Patient Care Training program and competency that will be provided by the facility. Upon completion you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to nursing personnel and assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Answer call lights and provide non-care giving tasks; i.e. change TV, open windows, relay requests for actual care assistance to nursing staff, transport residents to meals, activities, assist with passing trays.
- Make unoccupied beds
- Label clothing and belongings
- Maintain residents’ closets, bedside stands, drawers, and closets in a clean, orderly and odor free manner.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including shower, tub or bed baths, oral care, hair and skin care
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
- Must have completed personal care training program and competency provided by the facility

Entry Level (0-2 years)
