Job Description

The Breakfast Attendant helps the guests start their days off right by serving and facilitating a delicious four-star breakfast from 7am – 10am and assists in set up and tear down of the breakfast stations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS  •    Set up breakfast each morning by 7:00am •    Serve guests hot breakfast items such as eggs, breakfast meat, and hash browns. •    Continually restock dry food items and cold items and refill all drink containers during breakfast hours •    Assist in brewing a variety of coffees for guests  •    Ring up a variety of coffees for guests  •    Cordially assist guests with all breakfast questions  •    Report to work on time by 5:30am  •    Wipe down and bus tables as guests leave their tables  •    Set up, maintain, work and breakdown breakfast stations  •    Put all dry food items away after breakfast ends •    Clean surfaces and floors to prepare the Lounge sitting area for lunch •    Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

•    Must be over 16 years of age •    High School Diploma or high school equivalent preferred •    1 year of food and beverage, restaurant, or fast food experience preferred

SUPERVISION GIVEN AND RECEIVED   Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Received: Works under direct supervision of the Breakfast Supervisor. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS   Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, smell, taste, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to constantly lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds individually or with assistance.
