    Job Description

    SUMMARY The Creative Services Manager will oversee and execute creative aspects of marketing, public relations and branding initiatives for the Limelight Hotels, including design work and production. This role will collaborate with the Limelight Hotels Marketing team as well as the graphic designers from across the company. Stakeholders will include the operations and sales teams from across each hotel. There will be a roll out of a rebrand across the hotels that will need to be led and organized by this individual. The Creative Services Manager will lead the efforts through the use of Graphic Design, Photography, Videography and Project Management to support the guest journey. 

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS •    Manage creative strategies and tactics for each Limelight Hotel property marketing initiatives with a focus on supporting Sales, Events, Food + Beverage in addition to seasonal offerings including adventures, special events, etc.  •    Analyze media planning and trafficking of local print and digital ad campaigns •    Design digital media assets, advertisements, flyers, posters and other collateral as needed for sales, public relations, human resources and events •    Manage design of needed sales, events and food + beverage promotional pieces •    Manage design of rooms, guest services, housekeeping communication pieces •    Manage design vendors and agencies as needed •    Work with purchasing on identifying vendors able to produce collateral, branded items or promotional pieces •    Work with marketing and PR team to strategize, coordinate and oversee photo and video shoots. Shoot photographs in house when needed for specific design, marketing or PR need •    Lead design and production of marketing projects and brochures from concept to completion using outside agencies or creating internally •    Lead design and production of on-property, branded materials from concept to completion using outside agencies or creating internally •    Manage budget for design and production of marketing materials, special event collateral and work with internal departments to properly budget and expense branded guest supplies, etc.  •    Ensure brand integrity and style guidelines are maintained and adhered to in printed and electronic materials •    Manage distribution and inventory of collateral materials •    Understanding of media planning (print and digital) including analyzing results and ongoing optimization •    Assist marketing team on various projects and tasks when appropriate •    Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives; Organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; Develops realistic action plans •    Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others •    Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality; Works with integrity and ethically; Displays orientation to profitability; Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work with strategic goals •    Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Synthesizes complex or diverse information •    Project Management - Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget •    Ability to work autonomously - Highly motivated self-starter who is analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage several projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment 

    This role typically pays around $65,000, actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, and all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    •    Must be 21 years of age or older  •    Bachelor's Degree required with preferred emphasis in graphic design  •    2+ years of experience interfacing with technology & product teams required  •    3+ years of corporate design experience, marketing focus preferred  •    5+ years of experience with graphic design in a related field required  •    Full proficiency in design programs including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator •    Proficient in word processing, Power Point, etc. •    Copy writing and editing skills •    Ski resort or related travel and tourism experience a plus

    SUPERVISION GIVEN AND RECEIVED  Supervision Given: This position has no supervisor responsibilities  Supervision Received: Works under general supervision of the Director of Marketing. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins.   

    WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS  •Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements •No adverse or hazardous conditions   •Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
