    Job Description

    JOB TITLE:

    Development Associate Level I

    SALARY RANGE:

    61 K - 68 K

    RESPONSIBLE TO:

    Development Manager

    GENERAL DUTIES:

    • Conduct enzyme immunoassay (EIA) research and handle development projects to obtain FDA 510(k)

    clearance and CLIA categorizations to bring new products to market

    • Additional duties may be added as the need arises

    SPECIFIC DUTIES:

    • Prepare drug conjugates for immunoassay development

    • Conduct immunoassay optimizations

    • Proficiently work on a variety of clinical analyzers

    • Analyze and interpret data; record methods and results using good documentation practices

    • Prepare and present technical data summaries for design review and regulatory submission

    • Present and explain project results at team and project meetings

    • Effectively organize, prioritize, and plan experiment/work schedule

    • Assist in the transfer of completed development projects to Production

    • Participate in and provide support to Production through hands-on troubleshooting and regular communication

    • Additional duties may be added as the need arises

    QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • B.S. in biology / chemistry related field

    • 2+ years of R&D laboratory experience

    • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

    • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills

    • Detail oriented, excellent organizational and documentation behavior

    • Proficient with Internet/e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs are required

    • Able to work in a cold room periodically, which is kept at 2 – 8°C (35.6 – 46.4°F)

    • After hiring, require to provide a vaccination record and/or confirm current Hepatitis B and COVID-

    19 status

     

    PREFERRED:

    • M.S. or higher in biology or chemistry related field with R&D laboratory experience

    • Knowledge and experience with immunoassay research
