SUMMARY:
Provides support for multiple enterprise-wide business systems including
ERP (Fujitsu Glovia G2), CRM, PLM and HRIS. These system supports
business processes worldwide for manufacturing, distribution, sales,
service, human resources and finance operations. The resource will
participate in long range planning leading to the introduction of new
solutions and the management of all ancillary system integrations. The
ability to work independently and possessing strong organization,
communication and customer service skills is essential.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for collaborating with other departments within the
organization to implement new business functionality and to
incorporate process improvements via introduction of new systems,
program changes and enhancements.
- Develop and provide end-user training on an as needed or requested
basis for business processes, including the creation and maintenance
of training documentation and business procedures.
- Respond to help desk incidents and service requests.
- Assist in development of programming specifications and statement of
work documents that clearly identify the business problems and
proposed solution while gaining acceptance from key stakeholders.
- Organize, define and conduct functional and integration testing.
- Participation in cross functional team projects.
- Assists with the administration, maintenance, development and
enhancement of the enterprise-wide ERP system, Glovia G2. Experience
with the PRO-IV/SL programming language, Oracle PL/SQL language, and
basic understanding and operation of Windows and Linux operating
systems as well as ERP interaction with the Oracle
database solution.
- Support of Business to Business (B2B) transaction environment that
is currently using BizTalk as the core solution.
- Troubleshoots application and system problems and
recommends/performs corrective action.
- Upgrade systems routinely to maintain supportability on current
software release levels.
- Defines, coordinates, performs and communicates business application
programming needs necessary for upgrades and customizations in
support of users and management.
- Communicates with supervisor, management, co-workers, and peers to
assure cross-functional system requirements are properly analyzed
and addressed.
- Provides consulting and education to end users of business
application systems.
- Reviews and adjusts related job schedules to optimize system
performance and ensure delivery of reports and information streams.
- Maintains a high level of business systems process knowledge.

- 5+ years of experience working with Glovia/Super Layer/Pro-IV.
- Advanced SQL database management and maintenance skills.
- 1-2 years of experience working with Oracle administration and
related technologies.
- Exposure to B2B processes using BizTalk would be helpful.
- Practical application ability with Microsoft Office.
TYPICAL BACKGROUND:
BS in Computer Information Systems, Accounting, or Business Management
or equivalent experience. Three to five years’ experience supporting a
business application systems environment with knowledge of ERP
solutions.
