Job Description

LinTech Global is seeking a BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER to be a part of our Key Personnel team for a bid for new work supporting the NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HEALTH (NIMH) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BRANCH (ITB) BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AND REPORTING (BIR) in Bethesda, MD.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop NIMH-wide data analysis and reporting solutions
• Review and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
• Develop and maintain complex ETL processes using Pentaho ETL
• Design and create multiple dashboards that display selected data for specific audiences
• Research and evaluate technical solutions and provide recommendations for given requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Assist with the establishment and creation of standard processes and procedures for BIR industry best practices
• Translate business and/or functional requirements into dashboards, reports, or visual presentations

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS

• BS/MS/PhD degree from an accredited university with an Engineering or Applied Science focus
• 8+ years of relevant, applicable professional experience
• Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in presenting analysis results in Microsoft PowerPoint to meeting participants and upper management.
• Experience with stored procedure writing
• Experience with relational and dimensional databases
• Expertise in use of BI platforms, particularly Tableau
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Tableau, Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Reporting Services, Pentaho Data Integration (PDI ETL), Erwin, Toad, JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Purchasing Online Tracking System (POTS), Sunflower Property Management, NIH Mobile Management
