    POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Support role is responsible for ensuring that all new products and the associated development processes within the Machine Division meet quality standards. The position reports to the Quality Assurance Engineering Supervisor.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Demonstrate a commitment to uncompromising quality standards.
    • Enforce and adhere to the Lincoln Electric Quality Management System in all daily activities.
    • Provide input on quality aspects of parts, assemblies, and production activities for new products in the Machine Division.
    • Participate in stage-gate processes to ensure quality-related tasks are completed at the appropriate project phase.
    • Initiate changes for continuous improvement of products and processes.
    • Maintain records of quality assurance tasks completed as part of new product development.
    • Stay informed of all changes related to products, documents, and processes affecting quality.
    • Utilize the Quality Management System and appropriate personnel to support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Direct, mentor, train, and supervise other members of the Quality Assurance Department.
    • Assume additional responsibilities as needed to support the Company’s 2025 Strategy.

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • Vocational Training and 8+ years of experience or GED with 10+ years of related field experience.

    • Completion of Lincoln Electric 6 Sigma Gray Belt online training or equivalent highly desirable.

    • Ideal candidate will have experience in APQP - PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flows, 8D Corrective Actions.

    • Technical training in Quality Assurance or Root Cause Analysis, 2-year degree in Quality Assurance or other technical field, or Professional certification(s) highly desirable.

    • Proficient in MS Office and Windows operating system; Minitab highly desirable.

    • Knowledge and understanding of divisional products and related processes.

    • Basic understanding and knowledge of manufacturing engineering and quality standards.

    • Familiarity with Lean principles, 5S, quality assurance tools, procedures, measurement techniques, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Control Charts (including Pre-control), Process Capability, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).

    • Ability to maintain records and follow projects through to completion.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong organizational skills to handle changing priorities with minimal supervision.

    • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 60 lbs.

    • Excellent attendance, safety, and work record.

    • Ability to work rotating shifts.
