SUMMARY: Lincoln Industries, one of the largest privately-held OEM supply-chain manufacturers for motorsports, trucking, and consumer products sectors, is experiencing dynamic growth within our customer base. As part of supporting our growth strategy, we have immediate needs for talented individuals to help support expansion and development of our global supply base capabilities with our Strategic Sourcing Team in Lincoln, NE.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES: As part of the Lincoln Industries’ Strategic Sourcing Team, we would look for candidates to perform the following initiatives to support our growth strategies:
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and risk within current sub-tier supply chains.
Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers using industry best practices including on-site assessments and audits.
Oversee and support the launch of initial production projects with new suppliers with support from Integration Engineering and Account Management.
Evaluate current supplier manufacturing capabilities, pricing strategies, and services to deliver on customer product specifications for a variety of OEM motorsports, trucking, and commercial consumer products, utilizing different manufacturing methods in coatings, die castings, steel stampings, machining and other fabrication methods.
Build relationships between Lincoln Industries’ departments (Account Managers, Supplier Quality Integration Engineering, Planning, Technology, Sales and Accounting) to address and resolve critical issues related to customer needs and supplier performance.
Drive continuous improvement projects key company suppliers by building better manufacturing methods, reduced pricing and supply-chain optimization.
Develop and maintain communications with all levels of Lincoln Industries staff and suppliers by communicating openly and honestly, treating all people with dignity, respect and courtesy.
Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries Beliefs and Drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for strong candidates with the following credentials. Experience may be substituted for educational requirements as outlined below:
Education and/or Experience:
Expected: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in mechanical engineering, business, or supply chain management.
Preferred: 3-5 years supplier development and/or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment to include raw material development, fabrication and assembly. Low cost country supply chain experience in development will be strongly considered.
