Our Lombard -based Chicagoland branch office is seeking an established Financial Professional to join the team and provide financial and retirement planning services to the local K-12 educator community. They will support a well-established Financial Advisor by taking on a base of current clients and working to expand the portfolio.

A base income/bonus and existing clients will be provided. This is also a unique new client prospecting opportunity in a terrific niche market.

Qualified candidates will:

• Work with an established client base to set, evaluate, and strategize client portfolios for their 403(b) retirement savings plan
• Display the ability to be an independent, self-starter who is able to remain motivated to grow the business based on maximizing potential growth for current clients, as well as, developing new relationships
• Demonstrate the ability to build solid relationships with clients by gaining their trust and respect through active listening, empathy, and displaying results
• Influence sound decisions based on research, analysis, and effective communication
• Have the ability to generate leads
• Set and hold productive meetings through proper preparation, tailoring to the audience, and a great attention to detail
• Present and implement solutions
• Be proactive in providing ongoing client support and service
• Be flexible to meet the client’s meeting needs in terms of office hours, in-person versus virtual meetings, inquiry response times and availability
• Be an established, consummate professional at all times, both internally with our team and externally with the public
• Be able to commute within a 60 mile radius

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of financial services sales experience
• 403(b) experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, or equivalent business experience
• Tech savvy/ability to prospect for and service clients digitally
• Organized and efficient with a mindset of constant improvement
• Strong emotional intelligence

Licenses and Certifications

• FINRA Series 7 and 66; or 6, 63 and 65 registrations
• State insurance license
