Job Description

Description Lincoln Tech's Marietta, GA campus is seeking a Career Services Advisor to focus on the job placement of our students. You will be recruiting to establish partnerships with employers to uncover job opportunities. You will also be engaging students in activities that prepare them for their job search and employment interviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain an active lead database to ensure sufficient job opportunities for students and graduates
• Contact new companies to develop a relationship as a potential employer and/or internship site
• Initiate regular and consistent outreach to employers to uncover new employment opportunities
• Coordinate and schedule employer interviews with students and graduates
• Make follow-up calls to graduates and employers regarding interview outcomes and employment confirmation
• Maintain consistent contact with graduates until employment is successfully secured within their field of study
• Provide in-person and virtual workshops on resume preparation and career search strategies
• Report to the Director of Career Services

Requirements SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Associate degree or related work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Proficient in using virtual platforms
• Experience using social media platforms
• Able to work at least two nights per week
• Sales or previous staffing/recruitment/career services experience

 PREFERRED

• Experience with CampusVue
• Familiarity with online job searches and tools
