We are looking for an energetic, positive individual to work as a Marketing Web Developer at our company headquarters in San Luis Obispo.

The Marketing Web Developer will primarily be responsible for front-end development of the company’s website including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, and JavaScript) and aesthetic skills (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices). An understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment, is required. Additionally, the Marketing Web Developer will assemble email content from marketing assets and collaborate with marketing to manage the deployment of email campaigns.

This is a regular full-time position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

• Design and implement new features and functionality on company WordPress sites
• Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the website
• Ensure the Lindamood-Bell website is in compliance with all regulations including but not limited to, ADA, GRPR, and CCPA
• Assist Marketing in delivering email campaigns  
• Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively communicate with Project Managers
• Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive work environment
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma, or equivalent required
• Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience creating WordPress themes and plugins
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Good understanding of PHP back-end development
• Familiar with building email campaign HTML markups
• Some experience with any Email Service Provider (ie: Pardot, Marketo, Mailchip, etc..) is a plus
• Must pass pre-employment screening and clearances
