We are looking for energetic, fun, punctual, friendly and those that bring holiday cheer to our first ever European-Style Christmas Night Market in the heart of State Street. Every Christmas, all over Europe, craftsmen, retailers, wineries and artisans exhibit their goods in a traditional night market often known for its lively and unique shopping experience. This year, Santa Barbara Night Market LLC, is proud to bring this tradition to State Street with holiday themed decor, live music, carolers, food, beverages and all the best products the Central Coast has to offer! We are calling all students who are looking for seasonal Full-Time work for 6 weeks this holiday season. We will need staff for the following to assist in all things Santa Barbara Night Market: Assist with a variety of Santa Barbara Night Market vendors and their staffing needs and/or help with floor flow management. Duties may include: - Setting up booths, banners, and decorations - Moving equipment - Helping out booth vendors - Working at the food court and retail - Operating event rides & running event equipment - Helping with floor flow operations - And most importantly keeping the Night Market tidy and managing waste Please understand this opportunity will have you standing for long periods, working in a fast-paced environment and on-the-fly hands on assistance to meet the needs of the market. Days: Open every evening from November 26, 2018 - January 6, 2019.
