    Manufacturing leads take overall responsibility for the efficient operation of a company’s production resources. They may take other job titles such as manufacturing manager or director, or production manager or director, depending on the size and organizational structure of the company. Manufacturing leads have key responsibilities for quality and productivity, and they make an important contribution to overall cost control and profitability.

    Meet quality goals per Lindsay Windows standards:

    Self inspect 100% of parts ( finished and unfinished) moving through your work station

    Organize work load efficiently

    Provide positive and negative feedback to team members

    Communicate SQDC information to team members

    Actions for Success for LW Assoc. Level 3/ Manufacturing Lead:

    Follow company safety procedures and policies and encourage a safe work environment for all team members

    Listen to co-workers and team members for feedback and solutions

    Provide feedback to co-workers and team members for positive outcomes

    Pull truck reports to identify work need and plan work flow

    View all reports as needed for production planning

    Training line associates to Clean/ Organized/ Process standards

    Communication:

    LLs and Mgmt arrange proper work flow

    Warehouse/ shipping associates to plan truck loading

    Customer service staff

    Follow LW Core Values in all aspects of your work area

    Provide and listen to feedback and suggestions

    Have solutions for problems occurring in your workplace

    Accept change for process improvement

    Have good attendance; at shift start, breaks, lunches and shift end

    Results of LW Assoc Level 3/ Manufacturing Lead:

    Quality parts moving through the line(s)

    High output/ at or above standard work flow: goals achieved as per truck report or production demand

    Well organized team that is encouraged to provide input and ideas

    Job Requirements:

    Strong sense of communication

    Ability to read a tape measure to 1/20 inch

    Stand for the entire shift

    Good organizational skills

    Working computer knowledge

    High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Ability to lift/ transfer 25 lbs continuously

    Ability to lift/transfer and push/pull 50 lbs occasionally

    Reaching overhead occasionally

    Bending at waist and pivoting from waist frequently

    Fine hand manipulation of parts frequently
