Responsibilities
Elementary school tutor sought (rising K and rising 3rd grader), 20-40 hours a week from September 7, 2020-December 21, 2020, with possibility to continue into spring 2021. Hours would vary depending on the tutor's availability. Teaching certificate or successful completion of junior year of college in a teaching program required. Tutor would work with children to complete independent study assignments from Arlington Public Schools during tutoring sessions (tutor does not have to create assignments/preference is to follow what is provided by the county). Focus likely to be on completing reading, math and writing assignments. Background check and references required. Pay commensurate with experience.
