    About the Role

    As a Line Cook, you'll play a key role in daily kitchen execution, food preparation, station organization, and maintaining quality standards during service.

    This is a hands-on position for cooks who take pride in consistency, organization, teamwork, and attention to detail. You'll work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team to deliver the high standards that have made Eleven one of Pittsburgh's premier dining destinations.

    Located in Pittsburgh's historic Strip District, Eleven Contemporary Kitchen operates inside a beautifully restored warehouse that pays tribute to the city's industrial heritage. The restaurant features a seasonal menu, extensive wine program, refined American cuisine, and a polished dining experience that has earned a strong reputation throughout the region.

    Led by Executive Chef Eli Wahl and his culinary team, the kitchen focuses on allowing exceptional seasonal ingredients to take center stage while maintaining high standards of execution, consistency, and hospitality.     Responsibilities

    • Prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards
    • Set up and maintain assigned stations
    • Execute food preparation and service responsibilities
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout shifts
    • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
    • Communicate effectively with BOH leadership and teammates
    • Assist with product rotation and inventory organization
    • Support kitchen operations during peak service periods
    • Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen culture

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of food preparation or line cooking experience preferred
    • Fine dining experience preferred
    • Strong knife skills
    • Ability to follow written recipes and instructions
    • Understanding of food safety practices
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
    • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
