The Doubletree by Hilton Colorado Springs is hiring a Line Cook to work AM or PM shifts. Responsibilities: • Cooks prepare ingredients, wash vegetables, chop, season meat, and cook orders according to food health and safety standards. They may also operate a grill, oven, or fryer. • Cooks clean and sanitize workstations and utensils, wash dishes, and ensure the cooking area is safe. • Cooks take orders from wait staff or a computerized system, deliver food to wait staff, and ensure each order has the correct food and sides. • Cooks monitor inventory and reorder stock and food supplies. • Cooks assist other cooks and staff and may recommend ideas for specials or seasonal dishes. • Cooks need excellent communication skills to adapt to the various personalities present in a kitchen. Qualifications: • Prior cook experience. • Able to work the AM or PM Shift. Compensation: $17.50 - $19 hourly
