As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring an efficient kitchen operation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Assist in menu planning and development as needed
Handle food products safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and labeling
Utilize knife skills for food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
Support catering events by preparing meals for large groups when required
Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with staff
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
