They are responsible for their assigned station, including prepping ingredients, cooking, plating, and maintaining cleanliness. • Preparing ingredients by washing, chopping, and cutting vegetables, meats, and other food items. • Cooking food to order using various methods like grilling, frying, sautéing, and broiling. • Preparing and plating dishes according to recipes and presentation standards. • Setting up and stocking their station with necessary supplies and ensuring cleanliness. • Taking inventory, stocking, and storing food items properly. • Ensuring food is prepared correctly and meets the restaurant's standards. • Preparing dishes according to established recipes. • Following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Qualifications: • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques. • Understanding of proper handling, storage, and preparation of food. • The ability to handle a busy kitchen environment. • Working effectively with other kitchen staff. • Standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
