Prepares food order for the restaurant and assures the smooth operation of the kitchen by performing the following duties:
Prepares all food items prior to and during mealtime periods including catering orders according to food orders
Prepares, slices and chops food products
Uses deep fryer, electric choppers, stove, oven and grill. Mixer's blenders steamers, grater and other preparatory utensils
Follows portion and quality control standards of the menu.
Ensures kitchen appliances and equipment have been cleaned and turned off at the end of the day
Maintains work area in a sanitized and orderly manner in compliance with state health and safety regulations
