Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fry Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, primarily focusing on frying techniques, while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering delicious meals to our valued customers. Experience in the food industry, especially in restaurant or fine dining settings, is highly desirable. The Fry Cook will play a vital role in ensuring efficient meal preparation and excellent food presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook fried foods according to established recipes and standards
Ability to lift 40+lbs
Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including fry stations
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Sort, Prep, & Cut Raw Chicken
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies are low
Collaborate with FOH staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
Adhere to sanitation policies and maintain a safe working environment
Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed, including meal assembly and plating
Experience
Minium of 1- 2 full years of experience as a Fry Cook and/or in food preparation, & cooking in a restaurant setting.
Familiarity with food handling, and food safety standards
Fast Casual or Chicken restaurant experience beneficial, especially with fry station operations
Skills in food industry practices such as knife skills, meal preparation, and catering are advantageous
Strong understanding of food service protocols, including serving and food presentation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
