The Line Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items according to recipes, and plating dishes in a restaurant setting while working a designated station such as grill, sauté, or fry. This role ensures food quality standards are met, follows health and safety guidelines, maintains a clean and organized workstation, and works efficiently during service periods. We are currently seeking two (2) part-time Line Cooks—one AM shift and one PM shift—to join our team. Candidates must be able to handle both prep and cooking duties and be willing to learn all kitchen stations. Prior restaurant and à la carte experience is required, and experience with banquets and event execution is a plus. Responsibilities: • Performs all methods of cooking and portion control in accordance with hotel specifications. • Must have working knowledge of all kitchen equipment, including but not limited to: ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, mixers, knives, slicers, etc. • Properly uses all kitchen equipment and ensures the proper and safe use of all equipment. • Maintains the food line to ensure that all required items are properly stocked. • Continuously stocks and restocks items as needed. • Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation of all cooking equipment used during the specified shift. • Completes all assigned cleaning functions as specified by the supervisor during working shift. • Responsible for ensuring that all food is properly handled and stored. • Must wear the required uniform, must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Qualifications: • Previous experience as a Line/Prep Cook or experience in a full-service kitchen – minimum of 1-3 years preferred.
