About the Role:

The Inn at Glen Gardner is looking for a talented and passionate Line Cook/Kitchen Prep to join our culinary team in the heart of Glen Gardner, NJ. Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute menu items to order with consistency and quality standards

Perform daily prep work including chopping, portioning, marinating, and mise en place

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift

Follow recipes, plating guides, and portion control standards

Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory properly

Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient service during peak hours

Adhere to all food safety and health code regulations

Requirements:

Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred

Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Food Handler Certification or ServSafe certification a plus
