    Job Summary Project BBQ is seeking a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality menu items, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring consistency during service. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, works well with others, and takes pride in delivering great food every time.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Prepare and cook menu items according to Project BBQ recipes and standards

    Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station before, during, and after service

    Ensure all food is prepared with consistency, quality, and proper presentation

    Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times

    Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations

    Assist with food prep, portioning, and inventory as needed

    Monitor food levels and communicate with team to ensure smooth service

    Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

    Support team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture

    Complete opening and closing duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (BBQ experience a plus)

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

    Ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures accurately

    Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

    Positive attitude and strong work ethic

    Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs +

    Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

    Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

    Food Handler’s Card and ready to work
