We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at our fine dining restaurant, Lonesome Dove! The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the Executive Chef.
Participate in banquet events as needed, providing high-quality service to guests.
Uphold fine dining standards in presentation and flavor of all dishes served.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of high-volume cooking experience.
Fine dining experience preferred, with an understanding of upscale service expectations is a major plus!
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, baking).
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
