Yaz’s Table, a farm-to-table Breakfast and Lunch Scratch Kitchen is looking for driven, passionate Line Cooks to join our team, with a desire to grow within the company. We are seeking dynamic personalities who want to be part of something new and fun. Focusing on sustainable, local ingredients, our seasonal menu changes frequently. Prime applicants will possess strong leadership skills, a desire to learn continuously, and the ability to retain and implement information in a fast-paced environment. Creating an exceptional experience for all guests and employees is our absolute priority. Honed cooking and training skills will be a necessity. Creativity and detail orientation are encouraged. $$$ PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND POSITION $$$
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create menus according to season
Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
Follow all food safety regulations
Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
