    Tantísimo is a Latin American farm-to-table café and restaurant in Sylvan Park. We offer a rotating seasonal menu blending Middle Tennessee’s best produce and proteins with authentic Latin American cuisine, an all-Latin American wine program, dedicated espresso program, thoughtful agave list, and Latin inspired cocktail menu.

    Our restaurant operates from 5pm-10pm Tuesday-Sunday, with a weekday cafe and weekend brunch from 10am-2pm. We are committed to both the guest and employee experience. Our ideal candidate thrives in a team setting, has a passion for hospitality, and the desire to grow their knowledge.

    Job Summary: Line cook will work closely with our chefs and must be open to collaboration and feedback. The right candidate executes dinner service with precision, consistency, and urgency, and supports prep, organization, and cleanliness of the kitchen.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 2 years experience or equivalent knowledge

    Knowledge of Latin American cuisine a plus

    Ability to collaborate and communicate with chefs

    Ability to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 50lbs

    Open availability including brunch

    Hourly $18-22 + Service Charge

    Duties:

    Service Execution

    Execute assigned station during dinner service with consistency and speed

    Properly fire, plate, and garnish dishes according to chef standards

    Communicate clearly with expo and team during service

    Maintain ticket times and uphold quality under pressure

    Preparation & Organization

    Complete daily prep list as directed by Chefs

    Set up and break down station efficiently

    Maintain proper labeling, dating, and storage of all products

    Monitor pars and communicate shortages

    Kitchen Standards

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of station at all times

    Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

    Properly handle and store ingredients

    Assist with nightly cleaning tasks

    Team Contribution

    Support fellow cooks and jump in where needed

    Receive feedback professionally and implement changes quickly

    Contribute to a positive, solution-oriented kitchen culture
