Job Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items at Tiki fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment. This role requires consistency, speed, cleanliness, and teamwork while delivering flavorful, high-quality food that matches our coastal, tiki-inspired concept.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to our Tiki recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies
Execute orders accurately and efficiently during high-volume service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment
Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
Assist with prep work including cutting, marinating, breading, and batching
Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members
Monitor food quality, freshness, and temperature throughout service
Support closing and opening duties, including proper food storage and labeling
Maintain a positive attitude and team-first mentality
Qualifications & Skills
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (seafood or grill experience a plus)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Must follow all safety and sanitation standards
Schedule Requirements
Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings
Full-time and part-time positions available

Standing for extended periods
Exposure to heat, grills, fryers, and kitchen equipment
Ability to bend, reach, and lift as needed
