Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to Trattoria Delia's recipes and standards.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed consistently.
Assist in menu planning and daily specials, contributing creative ideas.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of ingredients.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training and mentoring of new kitchen staff.
Adapt to changing menu items and seasonal ingredients with flexibility.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for food presentation.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
