Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable, skilled Cook with a passion for serving seniors. The Cook will prepare daily meals, follow dietary guidelines, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve meals following menus and dietary requirements

Maintain high food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards

Support meal service in the dining room and assist with hosting as needed

Keep kitchen areas, equipment, and dining spaces clean and well-organized

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HIPAA regulations

Assist with grocery shopping and kitchen supply management

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a kitchen setting (senior living or hospitality preferred)

Current Food Handler’s Permit and CPR/First Aid Certification

Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Culinary certification or training preferred
