    We are seeking a dedicated culinary professional with a passion for food, strong time management skills, and the ability to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, and we are looking for a Line Cook who can also assist with Prep, as necessary. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of cooking methods, including poaching, braising, roasting, grilling, sautéing, and frying, while consistently adhering to our standard recipes and ensuring that meals meet guest expectations. In addition to cooking responsibilities, this role includes supporting the kitchen team with ingredient preparation and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Guarantee that quality food is supplied, by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products • Demonstrate professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with visitors, vendors, and associates • Cook food orders at stations by following established recipes and presentation standards for grilling, broiling, and sautéing menu items • Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential preparation items for a shift • Maintain work stations, including all countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition per health and safety regulations • Prepare and portion meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items per company recipes and standards • Cook menu items (grilling, broiling, sautéing, etc.) and prepare sauces, garnishes, and accompaniments • Set up, stock, and maintain cooking stations for each shift • Ensure food is properly stored, meet waste control guidelines, and consistently uphold quality standards • Keep all work areas, counters, equipment, and refrigeration clean and sanitary • Follow established recipes and presentation standards for all menu items • Assist with prep, dishwashing, or other kitchen duties as needed • Interact with team members, vendors, and guests in a professional, positive manner Qualifications: • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic • Meet all safety and sanitation requirements for kitchen equipment and food storage • Experience in food service or food preparation preferred • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure • Excellent time management, organization, and teamwork skills • Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed • Valid Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain) • Must meet minimum legal age requirement Physical Requirements • Stand for extended periods while preparing and cooking food • Lift up to 25 lbs. as needed • Work in hot or cold kitchen environments Compensation: $17 - $19 hourly
