    About the Position: Tide to Table on 78th St, OCMD is a scratch kitchen, seafood-focused restaurant sourcing local ingredients. We seek a skilled line cook with experience on sauté, fryer, and cold side stations. You must bring your own knives, have a strong understanding of a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen, and be eager to learn. We craft everything from scratch, focusing on local seafood.     Responsibilities:

    Work one or multiple stations including:

    Sauté

    Fry

    Cold side / garde manger

    Execute dishes consistently during high-volume lunch, brunch, and dinner service

    Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked stations throughout service

    Follow recipes, prep lists, and plating standards precisely

    Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow cooks during service

    Assist with prep and breakdown daily

    Work with fresh seafood, sauces, soups, dressings, and scratch-made components

    Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards at all times

    Handle pressure professionally while maintaining quality and urgency

    Requirements:

    Minimum 2–3 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant

    Strong knowledge of sauté, fryer, and cold side stations

    Must understand proper cooking temperatures, seasoning, and timing

    Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure

    Positive attitude and strong work ethic

    Dependable transportation and reliable attendance

    Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays during season

    Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

    Important Qualifications:

    Must have your own professional knives and tools

    Must be willing to learn and work within a fully scratch-made kitchen

    Experience with seafood is strongly preferred
