Job Summary We are seeking a Line Cook/ Prep cook to join the team at our busy restaurant. In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and committed to creating an excellent experience for patrons.

Job description:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation for catering events
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as directed
• Assist with cooking and baking tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines -Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others

Note: This position is open to candidates who are willing to learn and grow in the restaurant industry. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
