Fleet Landing is looking for line cooks who can bring focus, speed, and consistency to the kitchen. If you take pride in your craft, thrive under pressure, and want to be part of a tight, high-performing team—this is your lane.
What You’ll Do:
Prep, cook, and plate dishes to spec—every plate matters
Work side-by-side with the Executive Chef and kitchen team
Keep things moving during busy services without sacrificing quality
Stay locked in on consistency, timing, and presentation
Schedule:
Nights, weekends, and some holidays required
Long, active shifts (up to 12 hours on your feet)
What We’re Looking For:
Reliable and always on time
Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
Strong knife skills and confidence using kitchen tools
Familiar with industry best practices
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physically demanding shifts
Organized, efficient, and great at multitasking
Calm under pressure—rushes are part of the job
Team player who takes direction well
Open to feedback and always improving
ServSafe certification is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Execute dishes quickly and consistently to restaurant standards
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Set up and break down your station each shift
Store and label food properly
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets health standards
Rotate inventory using FIFO to reduce waste
Follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately
Stay focused and move with urgency during service
Jump in and support other stations when needed
