    Overview

    Dog Haus is a fast‑paced, craft‑casual restaurant specializing in gourmet hot dogs, sausages, smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, and breakfast burritos—served on grilled King's Hawaiian rolls. As a Line Cook, you'll contribute to delivering quick, high‑quality meals while upholding signature standards for showmanship and flavor.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Prepare food items to order using standard recipes and procedures with time-sensitive delivery.
    • Operate grills, griddles, deep-fat fryers, and other cooking equipment.
    • Ensure each dish meets Dog Haus's quality, portion, and presentation guidelines.
    • Keep workstations, equipment, utensils, and dishes clean and sanitized at all times.
    • Adhere to food safety protocols
    • Support kitchen operations such as prep, station setup, and cleaning.
    • Help with training and coaching new kitchen staff in standard operations.

    Requirements

    • Moderate experience in a similar role ( 1–2 years preferred).
    • Flexible availability including weekends and some evenings.
    • Possession or willingness to obtain a Food Handlers Certification and meet all health/safety standards.
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, lift/carry up to 40 lbs , and work in both hot and cold environments.

    Compensation

    • Starting pay around $14-$18/HR compensation may increase based on performance and tenure.
