Line Cook – Redheaded Stranger (East Nashville, TN)

Redheaded Stranger is a neighborhood taco shop in East Nashville. We’re known for our house made tortillas, smoked brisket, hatch green chiles, and other craveable Southwestern-inspired dishes. We’re looking for reliable, team-oriented line cooks who are passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in consistency and quality.

This position pays $20 an hour plus tips!

What We Need You To Do:

Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen. We work ticket by ticket, and there's a lot of them.

Set up and work your assigned line station with accuracy and efficiency.

Follow recipes and directions and do some light prep.

Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.

Work as part of a team to keep service smooth, efficient, and fun.

Close and clean your station thoroughly at the end of each shift.

What We’re Looking For

Reliability is a must! – we need team members who show up on time, ready to work.

We can make any availability work for the right person!

Solid cooking fundamentals and knife skills.

Ability to follow direction and prioritize tasks.

Understanding of safe food handling and sanitation practices.

Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
