    • Prepare and analyze financial plans, forecasts, and operational information.
    • Design and implement reports and analyses for management and executives.
    • Analyze results and variances, identifying trends and potential for improvement while reconciling issues and/or discrepancies by comparing and correcting data.
    • Increase productivity by developing automated applications, eliminating duplicate efforts and coordinating information requirements.
    • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports and making presentations of findings and analyses, including the use of charts and graphs to illustrate data.

    here's what we're looking for…

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of related work experience required.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and macros.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
    • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Demonstrate and uphold all of Company's core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth.

    POSITION SUMMARY:  Review signed leases to ensure both parties adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth in the document, including financial obligations, insurance requirements, sales reporting, and business licensing agreements.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Review monthly statements and invoices from landlords
    • Dispute discrepancies with landlords in a professional manner
    • Interpret lease provisions to minimize company liability
    • Communicate with other departments regarding lease provisions to ensure timely payment and to avoid other possible problems
    • Reconcile year-end, general ledger and other rent accounts
    • Prepare sales reports, percentage rent reports, rent schedule

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • One to three years of experience interpreting retail leases
    • General knowledge of Accounting Principles
    • Strong math skills
    • Experience with SAP a plus.
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Access
    • Working knowledge of Word
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
    • Ability to defend lease disputes with confidence
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented, demanding, multi-priority environment, both independently and as part of a team
