PHP WEB DEVELOPER This position is responsible for the creation of web pages in support of our global web branding and ecommerce efforts.  This position will work with internal and external partners to fully understand requirements, create documentation, establish timelines and develop solutions as needed.   

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accurately representing company line of products on the web and increasing sales on the web.
2. Utilize understanding of Magento's 1 code structure and extension architecture to develop sound technical strategies
3. Review, develop and implement innovative features and functionality for tools and modules based on business requirements
4. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
5. Participate in Peer Review process to ensure quality, security and stability of code base prior to deployment to live site.
6. Implement visual concepts on the web that match the content and the image created by the marketing team and global subsidiaries.
7. Responsible for staying current on the latest web trends; i.e. social media implementations, etc.
8. Implement changes on company websites to support marketing initiatives including testing and advertising initiatives
9. Troubleshoot/test platform speed/performance and CDN implementation for strong optimization.
10. Develop cross browser/device responsive sites
11. Work alongside internal leadership to determine future strategy and implementation of new tools and eCommerce innovation
12. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
13. Performs other duties as assigned

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. A 4 year degree in either: Computer Science, Information Systems or a combination of education and relevant work experience. 
2. 3+ years' experience in eCommerce, development, programming with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL JavaScript- including frameworks like jQuery, Prototype, or AngularJS.
3. Experience implementing order fulfillment and/or supply chain APIs or customizing same to automate order fulfillment processes for an ecommerce website (custom interface with 3rd party APIs) PHP, Magento, MySQL, JavaScript, ASP, JQuery, AngularJS, API, Git
4. Participation in the complete project lifecycle of websites
5. Strong focus on ROI and results with websites and internet marketing initiatives
6. Understanding of true end-to-end custom development timelines and process cycles

  PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SILLS  

1. Magento 1 certification or equivalent experience
2. Jira or similar / Agile platform experience
3. Experience with other Frameworks like Zend, Laravel, or Symphony
4. Frontend web design experience
5. BS or BA in Computer Science
6. Knowledge of SEO and Social Marketing development best practices
7. Experience working in continuous integration environments.
8. Exposure to cloud based infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
