Marketing Representative for IT Company
Our 31-year-old information technology consulting firm implements and maintains IT systems for small to medium organizations. THIS POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROMOTING OUR COMPANY AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THROUGH IN-PERSON NETWORKING, COMPANY EVENTS (VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON), CONFERENCES/TRADESHOWS, AND COMMUNITY EVENTS. Additional duties include minor edits to our website and maintaining our customer and prospect lists in our CRM and Mailchimp.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Promoting our company and IT services through in-person network events. Many of these events will be within 20 miles of 07950. Occasional travel outside this area may be required.
• Work with internal staff and vendors to create and schedule both Virtual and In Person Events.
• Minor edits to our website, sending our quarterly newsletter and other marketing materials
• Work with Vendors for MDF funding, marketing collateral, and participation.
• Confirm attendance for events and follow up afterward. (No cold calling)
• Follow up on inbound lead requests- provide more information, and schedule with the Sales team.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Associates or higher degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related
• 3+ years experience in a similar role desired
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills REQUIRED
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Prior experience with Computer Consulting firms or Managed Services Providers preferred.
• Work in a small team/company environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
NOT A REMOTE POSITION. There is flexibility to work from home 1-2 days when there are no networking or company events. Must be able to attend in-person networking events and report to the Morris Plains office. Must have a reliable car. Mileage is reimbursed based on IRS limits. 100% Employer paid Medical/Dental. 401K with 3% Company Contribution. Paid Time Office. Vision insurance is offered.
