    Job Description

    Links Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps (Senior-Level) to join our team in Aberdeen, Maryland.

    • Must be a US Citizen
    • Must possess a TS/SCI Clearance
    • Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

    The DevSecOps Engineer will support the Army’s Project Manager for Intelligence Systems and Analytics (IS&A) at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, automated, and scalable DevOps pipelines. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a deep understanding of DevOps and security principles.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work with developers and IT staff to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding.
    • Create and implement systems software to analyze data to improve existing ones, and oversee the process across all PM IS&A product lines.
    • Identify and implement best practices and recommend updates/changes to the DSO pipeline and architecture.
    • Design, implement, and maintain secure and automated CI/CD pipelines.
    • Integrate security tools and processes into the development and deployment workflows.
    • Implement security automation to continuously monitor and assess the security posture of applications and infrastructure.
    • Automate security testing, vulnerability scanning, and code analysis.
    • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment of security objectives with business goals.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams to integrate security seamlessly into the development process.
    • Implement and manage infrastructure as code practices using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
    • Ensure that infrastructure components are securely provisioned and configured.
    • Define and enforce security best practices in areas such as code development, deployment, and configuration management.
    • Conduct regular security reviews and audits.
    • Develop and maintain incident response plans for security events.
    • Provide training and guidance to development and operations teams on secure coding and deployment practices.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • US Citizen
    • Must possess a TS/SCI Clearance
    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, system, software, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or related field.
    • Ten (10) years of direct experience in the design, integration, configuration, and analysis of complex software systems, military electronics, computer networking, and digital and graphic display systems.
    • Experience and proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
    • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.
    • Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
    • Experience with network security principles and practices.

    Preferred:

    • Direct experience working with user representatives, and Army and Joint programs to develop and execute interoperability testing between systems.
    • Direct experience with intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance software systems.
    • Direct experience in the design, integration, configuration, and analysis of complex software systems, military electronics, computer networking, and digital and graphic display systems. Includes direct experience with Department of Defense System Engineering processes.
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
