Linode is looking for software engineers to join our team developing integrations between our platform and Infrastructure as Code cloud automation tools.

As a Software Engineer on our Developer Experience team, you'll build products and services that enable our customers to manage their Linodes programmatically through configuration management, infrastructure as code, and containerization. You'll get a chance to ease the accessibility of our services through third-party platforms and open source projects. This position sits at a really interesting intersection of our business: you'll have an active voice in shaping our open source community, help sales technically evaluate business partnerships, and build tools that will be internally useful.

Technologies

• Using and Maintaining Infrastructure as Code Tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible

Must Haves

• 3+ years experience in software development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Educated views on technology and software design
• Experience with automated testing
• A love for Linux

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 
• Build and Deployment Automation Experience
• API design experience
• Contributions to open source projects as well as your own projects
