Linode is looking for JavaScript Developers to help us build our open source web app!

As a JavaScript Developer at Linode, you will work on our open source single page app used by developers like you around the world. This interface is used to manage hundreds of thousands of Linodes running on our global datacenter network. The application is on cloud.linode.com and is an Open Source project hosted on Github https://github.com/linode/manager.

Not only will your contributions be showcased publicly, but you'll get the opportunity to interact with the community of open source developers and have your work used by friends and colleagues.

TECHNOLOGIES

You don't have to have experience with all of these, but you should have experience with some of them and an interest in learning others

• ES2017, TypeScript
• React, Redux, Ramda
• Jest, Enzyme
• Git, Linux

Must haves:

• 1+ years of professional experience in software development
• Experience with web application development
• Experience with React, Vue, or Angular
• Educated views on technology and software design to bring to the table
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Contributions to open-source projects as well as your own projects
• Build and deployment automation experience
• Experience with browser automation
• Experience with server-side languages such as Python, Go
