    Job Title: Classified Systems Administrator (Linux)

    Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance
    Location:Cambridge, MA
    Employment Type: Full-Time

    We are seeking a Classified Systems Administrator with a strong Linux background to support, manage, and deploy mission-critical applications within a classified environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering Linux operating systems and supporting engineering, collaboration, and configuration management tools in secure, compliance-driven environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administer, maintain, and support classified Linux-based systems in accordance with DoD and organizational security requirements
    • Install, configure, deploy, and manage enterprise applications, including:
    • IBM DOORS
    • GitLab
    • TeamWorkCloud
    • Windchill
    • Confluence
    • Jira
    • Creo

    Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting for Linux environments:

    • Support system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance (STIGs, RMF, audit readiness)
    • Coordinate with cybersecurity, engineering, and system owner teams to ensure systems are operating securely and efficiently
    • Maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, and operational procedures
    • Support backup, recovery, and continuity of operations efforts
    • Provide technical support and issue resolution in a classified setting
    • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments as required

    Required Qualifications:

    • Active Secret Clearance (required at time of hire)
    • Strong experience administering Linux systems in classified or secure environments
    • Demonstrated experience managing and deploying enterprise applications such as:
    • IBM DOORS
    • GitLab
    • TeamWorkCloud
    • Windchill
    • Confluence
    • Jira
    • Creo

    Experience with the following operating systems:

    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7, 8, and 9
    • Ubuntu
    • Oracle Linux
    • Familiarity with system security best practices and compliance requirements
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues
    • Strong documentation and communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience supporting engineering or PLM environments
    • Familiarity with DevSecOps or CI/CD pipelines in classified environments
    • Knowledge of DoD security frameworks (RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs)
    • Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar)

    Work Environment:

    • On-site support in a classified facility
    • Work performed in accordance with security and access control requirements
