    Linux System Administrator

    We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator who will work closely with the IT Group, customers, and remote site teams. This is an onsite role, and requires ACTIVE Security Clearance: TS/SSBI/SCI

     

    This system administrator will utilize diverse but conventional methods or approaches in order to solve problems of intermediate complexity.

    We are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service in a timely manner, is a highly analytical thinker and proactively identifies concerns before they become problems.

    Will follow supervisor instructions on methods, techniques, or approaches while at the same time be able to proactively design solutions for challenges presented by customers.

    May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.


    Requirements: 
    • B.S. degree or equivalent years of experience.

    • 5 years of minimum experience desired.

    • Must have CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent.

    • Advanced knowledge of Linux (RHEL and Rocky), AWS Cloud proficiency, Docker containerization, and deployment.

    • TS/SCI active clearance required. You must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship required.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • You should be a Linux System Administrator who has in-depth expertise and experience with acquiring, configuring, and maintaining computer servers, operating systems, networks and network file systems.
    • Skills include knowledge of coding, networking, problem-solving, and cloud computing.
    • Tasks may include upgrading, installing and configuring application software and computer hardware; troubleshooting and providing technical support to users; creating and managing system permissions and user accounts; performing regular security tests and security monitoring; and maintaining networks and network file systems.
