Job Description

LioChem, Inc. is seeking a PLASTIC COLORANTS TECHNICAL MANAGER to manage all technical activities including product development and improvement, production quality control, technical investigations, technical reporting, etc . This role will be responsible for managing technical staff, interacting with customers and sales personnel, working together with production management, leading investigations and improvements, ensuring and reporting product compliance, supporting audits, and other necessary technical activities. Responsibilities include researching, planning, arranging, and implementing lab equipment and processes, as well as various other improvement projects as assigned. Requirements are as follows:

• Must have a related engineering degree (engineering, chemistry, etc).
• Must be highly familiar with plastics materials: resins, additives, pigments
• Experienced with market requirements: automotive, food packaging, etc.
• Knowledge of product compliance (safety data sheets, REACH, right to know, etc)
• Strong technical and mechanical ability and willingness to be hands-on
• Ability to create presentations, technical reports, schedules, etc.
• 5+ Years of experience in TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT in a related area (plastic colorants, compounds, inks/coatings, pigments).
