  • Responsibilities

    We are expanding and looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to our team! This is a first shift, salaried position. The pay ranges from $61,000-$92,000. 1st shift runs from 8 AM - 5 PM.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. 
    • Analyze information, generate alternatives, and commit to solutions that ensure the efficient use of resources. 
    • Implement improvements by prioritizing and assigning tasks, resources and accountabilities to ensure objectives are met within the required time and budget. 
    • Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. 
    • Ensure that the facility operates within all applicable legal, safety, and environmental requirements. 
    • Maintain capital assets in premium condition while creating a showplace environment throughout the facility. 
    • Maintain building and grounds and lead facility conservation projects through team efforts or through contractors, including utility services, waste management and disposal, and operating systems. Modify products and processes to achieve an environmentally friendly workplace and eliminate any health or hygiene hazards with the facilities. 
    • Perform various administrative responsibilities such as timely reporting, meetings, project management, etc.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering discipline with 3-5 years experience in high volume manufacturing environment. 
    • Increasing level of responsibilities in managing matters and resolving issues related to building and grounds maintenance, equipment and tooling design and modification, production equipment acquisition, installation and maintenance, project management, and supervision. 
    • Knowledge and application of design, engineering and technology, computers and electronics, technology design, and problem-solving. 
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and /or SolidWorks CADD software. 
    • Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma Tools, Lean Manufacturing, Automation, and Capital

     

    Project is a plus.

    You should be proficient in:

    • CAD/CAM
    • Blueprint Reading
    • Electrical Schematics
    • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

    Machines & technologies you'll use:

    • CAD Software (AutoCAD, Solidworks)

    SALARY INFO:

    $29 - $45 / HR
