Job Description

As a FRONT END ENGINEER focused on building out Literati’s Web initiatives, you’ll be an essential part of helping Literati keep up with the hyper-scale we’ve been experiencing.. In this role, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Product, Customer Service, and Data Science and contribute in defining, scoping, and building our complex web applications.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

• Building JavaScript applications you’re proud to show off to other Engineers 
• Effective/efficient communication with design, product, and QA
• Web standards and accessibility, plus having a distinct interest in ensuring our products stay current and compliant
• Resolving UI/UX bugs in a timely fashion
• Passion for architecting maintainable front-end solutions

WE’D LOVE TO SEE

• 3+ years of JavaScript application experience 
• A love affair working with web components
• Extensive experience debugging applications for cross-browser compatibility (including mobile)
• Experience with React 
• Track record of successful delivery in an agile environment
• Demonstrated experience with common tools such as Git 
• Experience building component libraries

BONUS

• Typescript experience
• Familiarity with NextJS
• React Native experience
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent

ABOUT THE ROLE 

• Working with product owners/managers across the company, you’ll participate in sprint grooming, planning, and retrospective sessions. 
• Working with design, you’ll act as the expert in how we deliver world-class tailored experiences across our various platforms. 
• Working with Engineering, you’ll incorporate your expertise into our overall Engineering craft to achieve efficient delivery of our software products to market.
