    Job Responsibilities

    The litigation assistant at HighPoint Law Offices, LLC is an effective positive team member who is a detail-oriented self-starter, with exceptional time management and follows direction closely. The litigation assistant is responsible for supporting our attorneys in the preparation of various legal documentation and communication with the courts.

    Responsibilities

    · Update/maintain the firms court calendar while working with the various court clerks on any additional documents needed for court hearings. This includes calendaring requests by the attorneys regarding time sensitive dates and deadlines.

    · Coordinate with the firms Attorneys on upcoming court cases and appearances

    · Communicate with vendors or of counsel attorneys for court cases and appearances

    · Assist with preparation or retrieving of additional documents needed for court cases and appearances

    · Carrying out additional projects that pertain to the litigation department

    Qualifications

    · Required Qualifications

    · High School diploma or equivalent

    · Successfully pass background/reference check

    · Must speak clearly and communicate effectively in writing

    · Knowledgeable with Microsoft Outlook

    · Ability to effectively use CLS (Collection Master) or a similar case management software system

    · Ability to multi-task

    · Experience with litigation is not required but sought after
