    The Kassab Law Firm is seeking a motivated and skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a caseload, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court and other legal proceedings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Case Management:

    • Assisting in the management of a caseload from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and effective case progress.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and develop case strategies.
    • Prepare and attend court hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations.

    Legal Research & Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case preparation and strategy.
    • Analyze and interpret legal documents, statutes, and case law to provide accurate and actionable legal advice.

    Document Preparation:

    • Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
    • Ensure all legal documentation is accurate, compliant with current laws, and tailored to the specific needs of each case.

    Client Interaction:

    • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, discuss case strategy, and answer legal questions.
    • Represent clients in negotiations, ensuring their best interests are always at the forefront.

    Collaboration & Teamwork:

    • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure the highest standard of service.
    • Participate in firm meetings, continuing education, and training programs to enhance legal knowledge and skills.

    Court Representation:

    • Represent clients in court, including arguing motions, presenting evidence, and questioning witnesses.
    • Develop and execute litigation strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the Texas Bar in good standing.

    Experience:

    • 2-5 years of experience practicing law in civil litigation.
    • Proven experience in managing a caseload and representing clients in legal proceedings.

    Skills:

    • Familiarity with the rules governing civil litigation, including the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. Familiarity with the Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure is preferable.
    • Familiarity with the Texas e-filing system and, preferably, PACER and must be able to effectively operate Windows, Microsoft Office and Adobe or Nitro PDF.
    • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
    • Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
