    Megeredchian Law is a personal injury law firm based in Burbank, CA. We specialize in car accident cases and are known for delivering outstanding results for our clients. We’re currently seeking a qualified Litigation Associate to join our growing Litigation Department.

    The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a personal injury litigation caseload from the filing of a complaint through trial. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

    Required qualifications:

    • Minimum 2-5 years of personal injury litigation experience as an attorney.
    • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
    • Be able to work under strict deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Be able to handle a large caseload.
    • Strong legal research and analysis.
    • Strong legal writing skills.
    • Law and motion experience.
    • Well organized and detail oriented.
    • Reliable and punctual.
    • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Day-to-day handling of cases from filing of the complaint to trial.
    • Communication with opposing counsel.
    • Taking and defending depositions of parties and witnesses.
    • Making court appearances.
    • Reviewing drafted documents from staff.
    • Auditing litigation case files.
    • Trial preparation.
    • Settlement negotiations.
    • Settlement/dispositive proceedings [Mediations, arbitrations, etc.]
    • Provide legal opinions to clients.
