Litigation Associate – Insurance Defense Providence, RI (Hybrid flexibility available)

Full-Time $120,000 – $150,000/year

The Role We're seeking a Litigation Associate with 2–7 years of civil litigation experience to join a busy insurance defense practice. Insurance defense background is a plus. You'll independently manage all aspects of litigation while staying current on insurance defense case law developments.

Responsibilities Handle all aspects of litigation independently, conduct case analysis and discovery, take and defend depositions, draft motions and legal memoranda, attend hearings and court appearances, manage client communications and carrier reporting. Billable goal of 1,800–1,900 hours.

Ideal Candidate 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience, strong oral advocacy and writing skills, comfortable with client-facing responsibilities, and multi-state admission preferred.

Requirements Must be admitted and in good standing in Rhode Island. CT admission strongly preferred; MA a plus. Must be a U.S. citizen. CT, RI, or MA-based candidates strongly preferred.
